Application Procedure and Required Documents
Once nominated by the relevant International Coordinator at their home university, the nominated candidates will be put in touch with the International Office of the University of Belgrade for further administrative correspondence, as well as with the relevant Academic and/or Administrative Coordinator, respectively, at the host-faculty of the University of Belgrade.
Additionally, candidates nominated under the framework of Erasmus+ and Circle U. cooperation are requested to register and submit the required application documents within the online mobility platform of the University of Belgrade, at the following link: https://mobion.bg.ac.rs/.
Only those applications submitted by the candidates previously officially nominated under the framework of Erasmus+ and Circle U. cooperation will be accepted. Individual and direct applications sent to the University of Belgrade are not accepted.
Required Documents
The nominated candidate will be asked to submit the following accompanying documents (via MobiON platform):
For students:
- Candidate’s relevant CV with a photo
- For all students: Preliminary Learning Agreement
- Transcript of Records
- Any other information or document, required within the specific mobility program. Please check this section’s menu to learn more about your preferred mobility program offered at the University of Belgrade.
For staff:
- Mobility Agreement duly signed by the candidate and their sending institution
- Candidate’s relevant CV with a photo
- Invitation letter from the host faculty/institute at UB
Language Requirements
The minimum recommended level of knowledge of the language of instruction at the chosen course or program is B1 for students and B2 for staff, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This may vary based on the requirements of each individual partner institution, which will be seen in the information provided for the respective partner university. We suggest you upload a language certificate as one of the application documents, for the language you have chosen to follow classes in.
Additionally, students coming to the University of Belgrade on mobility programs should note that the official language of instruction is Serbian. However, there are numerous accredited curricula in the English language and few in other European languages. The list of such programs will be soon published online. Meanwhile, feel free to contact the International Relations Office of the University of Belgrade for more information.
Deadlines for nomination & application
Nominations from the relevant International Coordinator at the partner university are accepted by the deadlines determined within the specific mobility program.
